I’ve been practicing and teaching yoga for over a decade, and my journey has been deeply shaped by both personal experience and formal training. I traveled to Costa Rica to study with the Marianne Wells Yoga School, where I fell in love with Really Real Yoga®—a practice rooted in authenticity, self-awareness, and care.
As an elementary school teacher, long distance runner, and busy mom of two young children, I understand firsthand how essential it is to create space to slow down and reconnect. Yoga has been my anchor through the demands of daily life, and I’m passionate about sharing its benefits with others.
Each class I offer is an invitation to turn inward, move mindfully, and nourish both body and mind. My classes are welcoming and accessible to all levels, creating space for you to show up just as you are.
Owner and Head Instructor Brandy Girard-Simpson is a certified Krav Maga instructor through the Krav Maga Association of Canada. She took her first class 12 years ago and has been hooked ever since. She believes everyone has the right to learn how to protect themselves. She believes in life long training and still trains today in Ancaster at the Krav Maga Association of Canada headquarters in Ancaster.
Located in Tilbury, Ontario At 37 Mill St W in one of Tilbury’s Historical Landmark Buildings. We are open to ages 6 and up! We currently have all ages training.
URStrong is a proud member of the Krav Maga Association of Canada. Our Lesson Plans, Testing Schedule/Format and Instructors are all certified through the Krav Maga Canada and follow all the guidelines and requirements set by the organization.
